Hyderabad;Mlatimes; The Working president of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) KT Rama Rao lashed out at the NDA Government led by the BJP for its ‘step-motherly treatment’ towards the state of Telangana.
In his address to the party cadre in Secunderabad parliamentary constituency, Rama Rao said, “Modi said sab ka Saath sab ka vikas, but for Telangana state, he only gave that (hand)”, implying PM Modi let down the state.
He added that to confer national project status to Kaleshwaram and sanction a special grant for it, many requests were made to the Centre, none of which were responded to.
Rama Rao said, “We had asked for 100 acres of defence land to construct two flyovers in Secunderabad. In exchange, we offered 500 acres in Shamirpet, but the Centre turned a blind eye to our request.”
KTR Also recalled that the Former Minister Padma Rao had made multiple requests for allocation of 8 acres of railway land in Secunderabad, for the construction of houses for the poor. The requests were not heeded, he pointed out.
