A meeting of booth level activists was held in support of Uppal MLA candidate Bandari Lakshma Reddy at VNR Garden in Mallapur, under Uppal constituency on Thursday along with Uppal constituency incharge Ravula Sridhar Reddy, BRS leaders Ragidi Lakshma Reddy Sinigireddy Somashekhar Reddy, corporators, former corporators, division presidents were attended. KT Rama Rao suggested the locals should vote for Bandari Lakshma Reddy, and win with a huge majority by voting for the car symbol.
Minister KTR, who attended the meeting as the chief guest, said that there was a doubt as to what would happen to Telangana when it became a separate state, but today Telangana has become a model for the country. KT Rama Rao said, ten years back, the huge water scarcity was there in Uppal constituency, and the representatives of these Charlapally industries used to stage dharnas near Indira Park for no proper drinking water supply, Hyderabad women faced a lot of difficulties those days. Now, We are giving fresh and drinking water to every house through mission Bhagiratha scheme. All this was made possible by Chief Minister KCR. And, there is no Andhra-Telangana problem. No curfew. There is no conflict between Muslims and Hindus. Uppal is known as Mini India. People from many states are staying here in Uppal.
Telangana IT and Industry minister KT Rama Rao addressing a wide-scale meeting of BRS workers of Mallapur said that he was delighted over Super Star Rajnikanth's recent comments on the fast pace development of the Telangana state. Rajinikanth was all praise for Telangana's growth in all sectors including IT development and other sectors at a programme conducted in Andhra Pradesh recently. The superstar further said that Hyderabad surpassed many US cities like New York, Washington etc in terms of infrastructure development and civic amenities provided in the city.
Responding to a question raised in the Assembly, KTR said that many celebrities were praising Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for taking the Telangana state to another level in development. He suggested the opposition parties at least understand why Rajnikanth praised Telangana. KTR claimed Telangana stood number one in all sectors including IT, Metro Rail, education and other sectors.

The now-viral clip is a part of Deol’s interaction with the media at his last film Gadar-2’s success meet, which was held in Hyderabad.
KT Rama Rao said even as election heat turns on with leaders of opposition parties resorting to mudslinging with claims of the State not being developed enough in the last 9 years, video of the BJP MP praising the growth in Hyderabad, is finding its way on to the internet. “I’m coming to Hyderabad after a long time, I have shot several films in the city in the 80s and 90s. Coming back to the city after a long time now and witnessing the development in the city, I feel like shifting here. It is so beautiful,” Sunny Deol said in the video.

KTR speaking at a wide-scale meeting at Mallapur, city’s latest skywalk at Uppal junction, said the difference between the work pace of flyovers built by the state government and Narendra Modi-led central government speaks volumes about who is more efficient.
